Now that the short list is up, do you think Luminaries will win?
Kate: I’d love it if The Luminaries won, it seems such a great read. But I’d be equally keen for Harvest; that’s so beautifully written.
I had already read and enjoyed Harvest when I heard your two Booker long list episodes. Of the remaining titles, the one that you really made me want to read was McCann’s TransAtlantic. I am very glad that I did. Here’s what I thought of it:
