Should have sold more copies: Angelmaker and Free Agent #bookadayuk

It’s a mystery why some fantastic books don’t sell more copies. Here a a couple that Rob and Kate read, enjoyed and can’t understand why more people haven’t bought… Kate chooses Angelmaker by Nick Harkaway and Rob picks Free Agent by Jeremy Duns.

Rob: With a thrilling, twisting and turning plot, and a narrator unsure of his own allegiances, I’d encourage everyone to pick up a copy of Free Agent. Duns’ Paul Dark trilogy is a must read for all fans of spy fiction.

Kate: I was stunned by the incredibly imagination on display in Angelmaker, from the dark and dank backstreets of London’s East End, to exotic Indian principalities and amazing steampunk spy-carrying war machines. This truly is a work of genius and every home should have a copy.

It look me a little while to get used to the writing style but I found the world incredibly immersive and varied once everything kicked into gear. – Kate
