Exciting times are ahead as Rob and Kate are moving to London!
In case you didn’t know, Kate and I have been working in London for some time now, commuting back and forth by train in a journey that can take up to two hours at a time. While we love our new jobs, the travel time has been hard and pretty tiring, even when the trains run on time.
So now we’ve decided to make the move! We’ve found a flat and are in the process of packing up our things (the vast majority of which are books) and next weekend we should be moving in. It’s all happened rather quickly, and also coming straight after the Latitude festival, but exciting times are ahead. We’ll be making the most of living in the capital and going to lots of bookish events and places and telling you all about it.
As you can understand, we’ll be taking a short break from blogging and also the podcast while we settle in to our new home. We hope to back reviewing and podcasting pretty soon (getting the broadband transferred over is a main priority believe me!) and catching up with you all on what we’ve been reading and what we’ve been up to.
We’ll keep you up to date with it all over on Twitter and there may be the occasional post in between and be back to ‘usual service’ as quick as we can.
