This week, Rob and Kate discuss the new film adaptation of Julian Barnes’ Man Booker winning novel The Sense of an Ending, as well as talking about what they thought of the book itself.
It was great to go along to an advance screening of The Sense of an Ending at the Soho Hotel, and to take part of a film-and-book-club style discussion afterwards with some other fab bloggers. Listen to the podcast to hear what we thought of the film and the way it adapted this well-known novel, as well as our thoughts about the book itself.
The Sense of an Ending is directed by Ritesh Batra, with a screenplay by Nick Payne, and stars Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling, Harriet Walter and Michelle Dockery plus some emerging UK talent – Freya Mavor, Billy Howle and Joe Alwyn.
The Sense of an Ending is out in UK cinemas 14 April.
